Kollam has a proud tradition of producing athletes who have brought honour to the district at the State, National, and International levels. As the foundation of all sports, athletics instils discipline, perseverance, commitment, and the spirit of excellence.
The Kollam District Athletics Association is committed to building on this legacy by promoting athletics at the grassroots, nurturing young talent, supporting athletes and coaches, and creating greater opportunities for sporting excellence.

Message from the Secretary’s Desk
It is a matter of great pride and privilege to be associated with the Kollam District Athletics Association and to contribute to the growth of athletics in our district.
Kollam has immense athletic talent and a proud sporting tradition. Our responsibility is to provide athletes with the right opportunities, quality competitions, systematic support, and a positive environment in which they can develop and excel.
The Association is committed to strengthening athletics at the grassroots level, promoting clubs and institutions, supporting athletes and coaches, conducting competitions with fairness and professionalism, and developing competent technical officials. We believe that every competition is an opportunity to learn, improve, and move closer to excellence.
With fairness, transparency, teamwork, and dedication as our guiding principles, we will continue to work closely with athletes, coaches, clubs, institutions, officials, parents, and the wider sporting community.
I sincerely thank everyone who contributes to the development of athletics in Kollam. With a shared vision and collective effort, we can build a stronger athletics culture and create greater opportunities for the champions of tomorrow.
